Cast nylon sheet is created by casting nylon polymers into the necessary forms. Melting nylon pellets in an oven is the first step in the casting process. The nylon is heated, then put into a mould where it cools and solidifies. The sheet is taken out of the mould when it has solidified and can be applied in a variety of ways. A very adaptable thermoplastic resin is cast nylon.
